FreightBound is a software platform used by motor carriers to dispatch loads, manage their fleet, and communicate with their drivers. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
We collect account data for carriers who sign up for FreightBound — the carrier company and its employees who use the platform. Carriers also enter data about their drivers, including each driver's name and mobile number, as part of dispatching loads.
How we use it
Driver names and phone numbers are used solely for operational dispatch — sending a driver their load details (Driver Link) and requesting proof-of-delivery photos. See our Messaging Policy for detail on SMS messaging.
No marketing, no sale, no sharing
We do not use carrier or driver data for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties, except as needed to operate the platform (for example, our SMS delivery provider, to send the messages described above).
Retention, access, and deletion
We retain data for as long as a carrier's account is active. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at the email below.
